Continuing my journey of Hot Chicken on a day off, stop #2 was Hot Lola's by the chef of Himitsu. Located in the newly renovated Ballson Quarter.

Had the sandwich OG hot. Not sure what was old gangster about the mild bit of cayenne induced heat. The chicken meat was very juicy and flavorful, but the breading and slaw were barely there afterthoughts. If in the neighborhood, I might stop in again but with a bunch of other spots in the food court, it won't be on my next trip to the Quarter.
