Hot Dog Service

I can't believe I a doing this but the "Golden D" brand vendor on the corner of 15th and Union Square West is the best at assembling the perfect dog. This is not a statement as to whether or not Golden D brand is better than other brands.

He is meticulous in making a nice incision down the center of the dog and dressing it just so. I mean, he prepares them with real care. I am actully compelled to tip! How nice it is to have this impulse out of gratitude and not out of convention.
A glaring exception to vendors who just slop the condiments on leaving you with a mess.

I know this board is about finding the most delicious chow, and this may not be the best tasting dog on the street, but the experince is great.
