Went back last night for dinner. Even in the pouring rain the place was packed. And it really looks quite lovely at night, with red walls, horizontal mirrors and Mondrian inspired backbar. I tried the homemade ravioli with raisins and capers in brown butter. Wow. It seems the owner is a sous chef at Jean Georges and for $12 it was probably the best bargain entree I've had all year. The room is small and cozy and everyone seemed to be having a great time. They've only been open a week but it seems like everything is already right. They even called me a cab!
