Thw HKSSH is now open for business after an extensive remodelling. It took over at the end of 2005 at the location of what was the Parc Hong Kong at 1135 N. Lawrence Expwy in Sunnyvale. This is the West Bay branch of the HKSSH in Richmond. I once saw someone describing the Richmond HKSSH as "Koi Palace East" - that's quite a complement to live up to! The Richmond restaurant has served pricey live Australian coral trout in the past. Why did it move into Sunnyvale in a location wherein the previous Hong Sing and Parc Hong Kong restaurants could not survived? How will it do? Can it even match the former Millbrae Seafood Harbor Restaurant? It will be interesting to see in time.
