Honeymooning with Money Looming...

Kirstyn | Aug 30, 2009 05:01 AM

Greetings all:

I was hoping that someone out there could help us. See, like so many out there, my fiance and I have been greatly affected by the economic crisis. With less than 60 days left before our wedding, my fiance was laid off... on his birthday no less. (At least we had the foresight to make it a 1930's Great Depression/Carnival/perfotmance art theme. www.lecarnavaldudestin.com) Since that time it has been a mad rush to cut cost where ever possible, create items myself and appeal to the public at large. The outpouring of help and support has been amazing thus far!

Now, with my fiance and I set to be married this October 3rd, we are looking towards our honeymoon. Goodbye Paris. Hello California Road Trip! So, here I am again, trying to widdle something out of next to nothing and I need your help.

We plan on spending two days in San Francisco (Dinner, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast,) and are looking for delicious yet affordable places to dine. This is definitly something I must appeal to a local for... where can to madly-in-love-20-somethings grab a decent bite for around $20 - $30 or less. I am looking through the restaurants on Restaurants.com as well... are there any restaurants that post gift certificates on the site that you can recommend?

Thanks for all your help!

Sincerely,

Kirstyn & Chet
