honeymoon trip part 2

sari | Dec 25, 200409:26 AM

Well, last evening we went to Commander's. After all of the negative we had heard about this classic restaurant, the food and service were impeccable. Started out with complimentary bloody mary oyster shooters...wonderful. Then turtle soup...awesome and oyster chowder pot pie...great but not as good as the turtle soup. The garlic bread was great!! I had the duck and DH had the flounder. Both were excellent. Finished up with bread pudding and chocolate molten. Both awesome with the words happy honeymoon written in chocolate around the edge. Our captain, Eric was great. Then this morning we were delited with the $15 breakfast buffet at Midi in our hotel. An extensive buffet with excellent bacon, sausage, eggs sardou, smoked salmon, cheeses and meats, omelette and waffle stations, etc. What a bargain and excellent food. Two great meals, too much food!!!
