Hello Phx CH'er Looking for some dining ideas in SF and Napa
Other than French Laundry where are some other places to try in either Napa or SF, doesnt need to be that fancy...some good crab / seafood places would be great, saw another thread on some unique places found a few cool looking vietnamese places that look great
Is French Laundry still worth the price of admission? (i assume yes but figured i would ask)
Would definetly like to check out a Speakeasy bar or two so Bourbon and Branch is on my radar as is RickHouse as the amature Mixologist in me loves to try new drinks...but would certainly like to hear some other ideas
Going to be going to Napa / SF for honeymoon end of june through middle of july (somewhere in that time period) and was wondering for some ideas for winery tour ideas in Napa / driving services / etc would like to do a bit more upscale tour, wouldnt mind a small group or anything - wasnt exactly sure where to start...had been exploring going to Europe but we will be stateside so beginning at square one with research again...
We like all kinds of wine whites and reds so there is no one particular place we have in mind...probably top 4 wines we like would be merlot, pinot, sparkling, chardony...in no particular order - not huge cab fans...so if some place specializes in those...we wouldnt go out of our way
I hope this makes some sense as i feel i am rambling now :)
