Over the weekend I found myself with tons of fresh veggies, and made myself a huge salad. Then I realized I had no salad dressing, and was even out of balsamic, my usual stand-by. I got creative and mixed some mayo with buttermilk and a variety of dried spices, and chilled it for a bit. It actually wasn't so bad...but it was definetely missing something.
Any ideas what a great base would be for a creamy salad dressing, and how to jazz it up a bit? Thanks!
