Homebrew sake [Moved from Wine board]

Not sure that 'spirits' is the right place to post this, but seemed like the best option. Has anyone here tried to brew their own sake at home? What were your learnings? Is it hard, easy or impossible? How does the resulting sake taste? I have access to koji, so will have the fermentation culture part taken care of. Any advice is appreciated.
