As a reward for solving my girlfriend's mouse crisis at her house, she bought me my own ice cream maker - a Rival 4-quart job. I just made my first batch - Mexican Chocolate. I made a standard chocolate ice cream, substituting a large bar of Mexican chocolate (Goya in this case)for the semi-sweet called for by the recipe and stirred a teaspoon of ground cinnamon into the melted chocolate.
It was outstanding.
I've been insufferable ever since.
