In a small town just outside of Indianapolis tucked away in an almost missed row of shops on main street is a Cajun resturant called Zydecos. Being born and raised on the sunny banks of Bayou Tesson I can tell you living and working in yankee land I get homesick for some well prepared cajun dishes and atmosphere to match. Zydecos fills the bill and the owners are as big a part of the operation as the food is. Deb and Carter make every effort to make your visit not only fun but makes you sad when it's time to leave...The way you do when visiting mom and dad after being away for a long time.
Carter, a Native Louisiana boy, brings all the menu items to life as if you were sitting in a cajun mamas kitchen and the helpings are heaping and the air is filled with twangs of cajun and zydeco music. Add the little contry store and it's like I never left home.
