Holy Carbs! Domino's Breadbowl Pasta

monavano | Apr 27, 200902:50 PM     5

So, I'm going to admit straight-up that I order from Domino's on occassion when I'm just not in the mood to cook, or clean. I think the Brooklyn style pizza isn't bad. Hell, I've had worse at restaurants, plus, I like their chicken kickers.
Today, when I ordered online (and is anyone else just fascinated by the Pizza Tracker??), the website featured Domino's Breadbowl Pasta-huge round loafs of bread filled with your choice of things like chicken alfredo, chicken carbonara and hold on to your hats; mac n' cheese!
Wow, talk about a carbfest. I'm just wondering what the conversation went like in product development? "Say, folks are buying our cheap food in this economy, what can we make that'll have them ordering? Something Italian...pasta...but hmmm..how can we put a twist on it? Breadbowls!! It works for soup and spinach dip...why not pasta?"
They're very cheap, and you can add one to your order for $1 for now.

Anyone tried them??

(wow...by the time I finished this post, my pizza has arrived)
