I bought a Lodge Logic cast iron dutch oven today, and after unboxing it, discovered a fairly sizeable hole (approx 5mm x 7mm) on the interior side of the pot, near the top edge. I'm wondering if this is going to have enough impact on the performance of the pot to warrant returning/exchanging it, or is it not that big of a deal? It looks like it was caused by an air bubble during the casting process, and I'm not really sure how common that is.
I've attached a picture of the hole so you can get a better idea of what I'm talking about. Sorry for the poor quality, it's hard to get a good photo of the inside of a black pot. I'll try again tomorrow with better light.
