As I write, I am enjoying yet another good meal from the Swinery on Main.
Gabriel Claycamp's reputedly iffy relations with USDA, PHSKC, contract law, food-service hygeine, and certain of his customers (or so I'm told) notwithstanding, I'm now officially 4 for 4 in good lunches at the Swinery on Main. It's official - I'm a regular.
First was Lamby Joe, a tasty, sloppy melange of chorizo, ground lamb, caramelized fennel, and aioli called Ras el Hanout. Then another meaty sandwich from the rotating specials (it was not the Boss Hog is all I can remember). Then Gabriel's cassoulet, with lamb, duck, sausage... Each meal has been better than the last and today is a totally excellent slab of pork ribs, just tugging off the bone, with a savory BBQ sauce of good heat, and beef-fat fries.
