I am traveling to HK/Shenzhen/Guangzhou march 31-april 7 w/ my older brother and parents. My parents speak cantonese and my dad grew up in HK (but in the country somewhere and doesn't remember much), so i'm relying on this board to help me out w/ food destinations!
I am a big foodie (i.e., i'm willing to spend a lot of $ on food/go out of the way if it's outstanding/worth it) but i'll admit that my brother and parents really aren't (so reasonable prices/nothing too extreme, nouveau). Another caveat: i know there have been excellent reviews on da ping hou, but my parents CANNOT take spicy food of any sort =*( [my bro and i may have to sneak off for a meal there ourselves..]
Anyway, we'll be staying in Tsim sha tsui, in case that helps.
Thank u in advance for your help!
(pls include price ranges for ur suggestions and if it is necessary to reserve in advance?)
