Highly recommend the Boston tapas outpost in NYC - Toro

nomadmanhattan | Sep 24, 201309:46 PM     3

Came here the second night it opened. I am impressed! Menu is extensive with a mix of traditional and innovative tapas.

Get the uni on a spoon with Spanish hams, quail egg and caviar!! I never thought I would have this good uni outside of a Japanese restaurant! I had a foodgasm! It's off the menu. so ask for it!

Abalone seasoned with brown butter and parsley. Good but I still prefer the Japanese or Chinese way, aka raw or steamed.abalone is sourced from Cali - not as good as those from Indonesia.

ZANAHORIAS (HEIRLOOM CARROTS, BUTTERMILK, DILL AND HARISS)good, but nothing surprising.

Blow fish tail with morrocan spice- love it! Surprisingly meaty for three little fish tail.

I will definitely come back and try more items on the menu!
