Highest Quality Induction Adapter/Plate for Non-Induction Cookware

I'm looking for an induction adapter/plate of the highest quality (e.g. clad/3+-ply), price is no object. If this is the only way to use my existing French copper pans, so be it.

It seems most plates out there are made of stainless steel of varying thickness and quality, which is disappointing given stainless steel's poor thermal properties compared to the same disk in clad aluminum or even cast iron.

Worst case scenario seems to be just using a flat, handle-less cast iron griddle. Theoretically this should out-perform a thin stainless steel plate...
