High-end, yet suitably traditional, T'giving in S.F.?

Jonathan King | Oct 11, 2005 12:53 AM

My wife insists on ignoring all our so-called friends for T'giving this year, largely on account of slights real and imagined from holidays past, and having dinner out somewhere in S.F. that night instead. She's booked a seating at the Ritz-Carlton, which makes me nervous for some reason (perhaps due to repressed memories of my own stint as a hotel cook many years ago). Any hints on someplace that will produce a respectable, even creative T'giving dinner recognizable as such, without undue reliance on Sterno?
