High marks for Il Buongustaio!

I just stumbled into this place today on Huron Ave. in Cambridge (it's where Emma's pizza used to be). They make their own dough, and their pizza is light and delicious, with spicy tomato sauce and great toppings (I had shrimp and tomato). They also have calzones that look great, as well as prepared salads such as tomato and mozarella and a sort of medley of roasted vegetables; there was also something that looked like a fritatta. And they are really friendly, a welcome change from the arrogance of Emma's. It is so nice to find a pizza and sandwich place that sets its sights on something loftier than the steak bomb (not that I don't like steak bombs!).
