Hide-A-Way Cafe in Oakland closed?

Or perhaps they're redecorating in anticipation of a visit from Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. But usually when brown paper goes up on the windows, it's not a good sign. I always meant to stop in there, and never I'll have to make a point to go to some other of the "must visit some day" places on my list.

I noticed on the same trip down Telegraph that the long-vacant space of KoKo House, which I also never patronized but always enjoyed passing for their banner "Forks Down, Chopsticks Up", is doing business again under the name of Oriental BBQ Chicken something.
