I need YOUR help....Sacramento and Santa Rosa and environs

I'm travelling down to CA for a visit over Memorial Day weekend and I need some help.

I'll be spending a few days in Sacramnto and then on to Santa Rosa for a few more. I'd like recommendations for Sacramento focusing of impressive cheap places(Mexican, Asian, others?). A great breakfast place would be nice, too. I'll be staying in mid-town but willing to take a trip if it is worth it. Hole in the wall places a plus.

For Santa Rosa, I've already read the taco truck threads of the past and I've been to Pho Vietnam on a previous visit(very good!). I'm planning a visit to Bear Korean in Cotati. Any other recommendations in the area?
