Heirloom Tomato Tasting

Shepherd B. Goode | Jul 31, 200210:38 AM

This morning's Tribune notes an heirloom tomato tasting in Berkeley on Saturday, August 10. Concurrent with the regular farmers' market, the event will run from 10 AM to 3 PM, and will feature samples of many heirloom varieties, as well as a presentation on tomato recipes. Choose your sample carefully, and you might snag some choice seeds.
The farmers' market takes place on Center Street between Milvia and Martin Luther King, by the Berkeley Veterans' Memorial.
