I just got back from an eating trip to Toronto (man, what a great dining town that is!) and we're heading into the winter overeating season. So I need some good ideas for healthy and delicious dining in Twin Cities restaurants to balance everything out.
I'm looking for meals that are relatively low in fat, high in vegetables, and scrumptious - something that you can feel virtuous about eating while you're moaning with delight. Vegetarian, complex carbs, or high Omega3 is a plus, too.
So far, my list is:
- Birchwood (if I can avoid the pizza and desserts).
- Midori's Floating World Cafe: I love the multiple salads and reasonable portion size of the grilled fish dinners.
- Tanpopo: vegetarian soba - yum.
Any more ideas?
