Last year when my husband and I were in Honolulu we went to the International Marketplace and my husband had a meal from a vendor there. I believe it was a plate lunch because of the rice and the macaroni salad but he chose to have Korean vegetable side dishes (kim chee and bean sprouts)instead of a meat entree. Do most plate lunch places have the Korean side dishes? I ask because we are going back for our 5th wedding anniversary in Sept. We are going to the Big Island as well as Maui, but right now we are making a lengthy stopover in Oahu so my husband can go back to this place. I'm wondering if he could get the same thing in other places thereby negating the need for the long stop in Oahu. Sorry for the ramble, but I 'd just as soon get over to the Big Island sooner if he can get the same type of meal there-thanks for any responses.
