Little Havana

On tweedy's recent recommendation, I went to Little Havana last night--what a wonderful little place. Little Havana is a very small family-operated place that turns out some fantastic food. I had the filet mignon, which was so tender it barely needed chewing. My boyfriend's ropa vieja was melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly sauced--not too much, not too little. The sides (rice and beans and tostones) were somewhat lackluster, but how could they compete with the wonderful meats? I agree w/tweedy that this restaurant is an overlooked gem.
