Finally - Harvest Wagon has moved out of their cramped temporary quarters and into their gorgeous new light-filled space. The store is probably 2-3 times the size of the original space with beautiful dark wood shelving, huge windows, etc. With the addition of a freezer section, expanded cheeses, heat lamps for rotisserie chickens and a large counter to be filled with prepared foods, they are more like a mini Summerhill Market. I'm a big fan of the staff at HW and wish them well in their new digs.
The remaining renovations are continuing with All the Best slated to move in the next couple of weeks, the portables ultimately making way for green space and the various Terroni restaurants opening up in stages in the new year. When it's all done, I think it will be a pretty stunning destination for (pricey but good quality) food in Summerhill. My one concern is with parking, which is already strained, and promises to be even more so as the retail expansion continues.
