OK, these constratints may be a tad esoteric, but I'm counting on y'all to help me be the hero:
The Communications Workers of America is the union that represents SBC Communications' (formerly Pacific Bell's) craft workers (operators, service reps, techs and so forth). SBC's contract with CWA expired on 4-1, and no settlement has been reached. CWA has announced they will go on strike starting at 00:01 on Friday.
I, as a stooge of management, will be working 12 hours per day, seven days per week during the strike. One of my duties will be to feed my crew. This will be at least lunch every day, with snacks available at all times and possibly even bringing in breakfast.
SOOOO, I'm looking for:
-- Food that will appeal to most people.
-- Location in/near Garden Grove.
-- Establishment willing to pack food to-go.
-- Ability to deliver a DEFINITE plus but their delivery person must be willing to cross the picket line.
My budget is firm: $15 per person, per day. I'll have at least 15 people to feed.
Any thoughts are gratefully received. I'm pretty sure these folks will not appreciate me bringing in Korean or Vietnamese food, alas. Seafood is probably iffy. Mexican is probably good. El Pollo Loco, Zankou and Corner Bakery are on my list. I'd like to do a salad day at some point.
My people will be working long, hard hours and I want to treat them as well as the budget will allow. I'm planning on having fresh fruit a some snacks available at all times.
