Inner Harbor report (part 2 of 3) - Pier 4 Kitchen

Ate lunch here Saturday, and I highly recomend this place. Service was great, atmosphere was fine (OK for families and couples)

It wasn't busy at all, so the bar tender was our waiter, and he really took care of us. He brought me 4 local beer samples, and allowed plenty of time to make up my mind. This place knows what they're doing in this department as each beer was actually served at the correct tempurature. It makes a bigger difference than you think!

To start, we shared a tasty skillet corn bread with a honey butter.

I had a blackened mahi sandwich on a kaisar roll. Can't remember the special sauce, but it was an outstanding sandwich.
The wife had pulled pork BBQ, which was good enough for not being from NC - a little smokey and not too sweet.

Both were served with fries that were forgetable. Why is it that so many places serve a great sandwich, but give you lousy fries?

A very good, affordable lunch. Well prepared, with good service. Can't ask for much more...
