A year ago, I picked Parish Publick House for a business meeting. On a bright and sunny day, the outdoor patio was a wonderful spot to chill out with a couple of beers and the happy hour menu.
I went light with the refreshing Barebottle 415ish Kolsch. The happy hour snacks are heavy on the deep-fried stuff, but why not when they do them so well? Fresh onion rings with a crisp, flaky batter and the Dixie pickles, cut into spears, battered and fried. And I do like a place that offers a choice of dipping sauces and does not resist when the customer asks for some of both.
Friendly service, nice outdoor space, good beer selection, and well-made drinking food. It worked for us.
