On Thursday I wandered over to Hamada (Union & Hyde in SF), the Egyptian coffee and kebab house, to buy a snack. The mini orange coffee cake looked particularly good, and it was when my appetite returned the next day. A tender buttery crumb, a little glaze, lots of intense orange rind, and soaked with orange syrup. Big enough for two servings and well-worth $2.65.
