Hi all,

I recently discovered that the E. Guittard Couveture 16 oz. Boxed Wafers have been discontinued. I was really disappointed to discover this because I frequently purchased them for baking, and have always found them to be the most affordable chocolate baking wafers. They were priced around $9-12 for one 16 oz. box.

They have been replaced with E. Guittard's bagged baking wafers (probably the same product inside the bag), which are priced at $12 for one 12 oz. bag.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a less expensive alternative to their new product? I'd love to find a similar quality chocolate baking wafer (in both semisweet and bittersweet varieties) for around $9-12 per pound.

Any tips would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance :)
