I Guess It Was Inevitable-Artisan Perogies

Sam Salmon | Apr 20, 201507:47 PM     20

I wish this was a joke post but it's not-some place in New West is now advertising Artisan Perogies-is nothing sacred.

Backing up into the 20th century Perogies were common & cheap-now a lunch @ a community hall will cost you upward of $15 and closer to $20-absolute insanity if you ask me.

I may have put up something about Whistler Perogies a few years back but we all know Whistler is pretentious & overpriced I guess the contagion has spread.

The ironic part of this development is that the term 'perogie' hasn't been used in what my family call the Old Country for decades the name used now is Varenyky
