Guacamole variations

I try to eat low carb & love avocados and guacamole. I had to rescue some overripe avocados yesterday so I made standard guac with avocado, onion, garlic, cilantro, lime juice (no tomatoes). I don't recall seeing recipes for guacamole variations like using basil instead or in addition to cilantro or maybe using Asian or Middle Eastern ingredients. Are there other cuisines that use avocado pulp for cold preparations or creative chefs who make different flavored guacamole?
