I finally sated my craving for guacamole and made a quart of it--who knew 6 small haas avocadoes could turn into so much guac?
So I've been seeking creative ways to eat it. I don't have tortilla chips and don't really want any. So far, I've eaten guac:
-mixed into a salad with shredded iceberg lettuce,a squeeze of lime, and a sprinkling of kosher salt.
-on pan-fried pork chops
-on grilled drumsticks
-on toast points
-on top of a breakfast burrito (eggs and cheese)
What else can I eat guacamole with? As you can tell, I'll eat almost anything once. I also used some of the avocadoes (plain) to make milkshakes, which some people find strange but I find delicious. With either sugar or honey. Mmm!
