Grocery Outlet -- January 2015

Ruth Lafler | Jan 12, 201502:47 PM     20

Looks like there's no thread of this month yet.

At Oakland, 1/11:

$1.99 both the Lurpak and the President w/Sea Salt butter (good thing, too, since my houseguest is going through the Lurpak as if it were about to be outlawed)

$1.99 Hillshire Farms American Craft sausages (various flavors), 14.5 oz

99 cents Maui and Sons unsweetened coconut water -- this is my favorite brand. They also had the Parrot brand with pulp (and a little sugar) and the O.N.E. in the tetrapak (although I bought the last on the shelf) for the same price.

The NOSH (Natural Organic Specialty and Healthy) shelves were pretty picked over, but near the deli section there were cartons with huge containers of coconut oil (three pounds, maybe?). I think they were $8.99.
