Green Tea Gelato @ Yoogo Gelato in SF Chinatown

Melanie Wong | May 1, 200603:55 PM     4

Back here on Wednesday I found another flavor to recommend. The green tea gelato is STRONG with a tannic bite in the finish. It might also be the reason I had trouble falling asleep that night. The espresso continues to be my Dad's favorite flavor here. The smooth tones of the coffee flavoring remind me of instant Yuban.

I also tasted the Japanese rice gelato with purple/black hard chalky grains of rice . . . not for me. Still not my favorite gelato place by a long shot, but sometimes it's convenient and hits the spot.
