Every chowhound should try this. Get a regular old head of garlic from the grocery , break it up into cloves and plant right side up just below the soil. All you need is a decent size flower pot. I like the Earthbox. Check out the roots on this thing; two feet long in a 10" deep container. I'm going to make a little garlic/parmesan cheese toast to go with our dinner.
