New Green Bo - Mini Review

Finding myself in Chinatown last nite early enough to walk into NGB without waiting, I decided to give it a try. Stupidly, I had had a late lunch, so my dining was limited to the crab/pork juicy buns and an order of veggie dumplings.

The soup dumplings were excellent, outlandishly exploding with flavor. Quite full of tasty soup and a smooth and porky (with that hint of crab) center. I still love the tuft of extra crab meat placed at the top of the bun as well.

Ah, the veggie dumplings. I have to say that these are really some of the best veggy dumplings I have had. Filled with leeks, chives, carrot, mushroom (I think), and aged tofu. They have a slightly sour flavor which I adore. Nice skin as well. They are so fresh and green tasting.

Would have loved to try some of my other fav's, but i was too full.
