Greek Yogurt at C&K Imports

Eric Eto | May 14, 2003 12:26 PM

After searching for threads on Greek yogurt on the LA boards, a few have mentioned that C&K Imports at the corner of Pico and Normandie carries the item, but no one has made any first hand mentions of the stuff itself. Since I've become quite a Greek yogurt buff in NYC, I went to C&K to see if they have some good stuff (Total brand or whatever). Well, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they sell their own homemade stuff (made outside the premises, but only for them apparently). It's also rather inexpensive compared to Total brand at $3.99 for a 32oz tub (they sell smaller sizes too). The one last thing I should mention is that this stuff kind of kicks Total brand's ass. It's really good stuff. Custardy, thick, rich, and all that. Give it a try with some Greek honey, and ground pistachios.
