Great tamales oaxaquenos in Park Slope

Flowers & Coffee, a signless outpost on the west side of 4th Ave between 10th & 11th, boasts amazing red & green tamales oaxaquenos ($1.50 ea) prepared by Javier, the friendly proprietor. He also serves standard tamales ($1.25), which are also quite good. His main output is a variety of different soups, one of my favorite being the sausage chili ($3.50). In the evening he produces amazing mole and spicy green sauce pork and chicken dishes served with his delicious rice and sometimes sauteed vegetables. These platters are around $7. There are only a couple of tables outside -- this is mostly a takeout business. It's open late, 11pm daily. Oh yeah, avoid the terrible iced tea.
