Great Spicy Mina developments--portion sizes, reasonably priced lunch special

I had the new lunch special at Spicy Mina today. They don't have it on the menu yet, but they've placed a sign outside, and it's a VERY reasonable 10.99. The description on the sign was a bit confusing, and all I told the friendly waiter/host/dentist (yes he's also a dentist!) was that I was sorta-vegetarian, and I ended up being served a samosa chat, a large bowl of rice with those fried onion strips, and three (!) seperate vegetable curries--each one a generous portion... One was a Mina's Dal Fry Special, another was a mixed vegetable curry, and the third was Aloo Gobi (cauliflower and potatoes). Now, I've never had the latter two at Mina (the dish never excited me before), but I guess that's what's good about the special: all three curries were good/great, but the Aloo Gobi actually ended up being my favorite.

Now, I have a appetite, but the special was so ample that this was the first time since Sunnyside Mina that I felt so stuffed that I needed to get some of my order to go.

I forgot to ask if they're going to offer the lunch special on weekends, though. Hopefully they will...
