Great snow peas spotted at C-town

We've been buying our Chinese vegetables on this store on the corner of Grand and Eldridge as opposed to going to our usual on Mott. They looked a lot fresher. Today, I was looking at snow peas. Normally I'm not a fan of snow peas as they just seem more like filler than the star. OK, but nothing to rave about. But these looked different so I decided to buy a pound. The guy was like, "Beautiful. Beautiful." as he scooped up the snow peas. Well, just had some for dinner and I have to say they were the best ones I've ever had -- plump, sweet and fresh. I don't think I've ever seen snow peas as plump as these ever. Neither has DH -- and he used to work in Chinese restaurants when he was younger. So if you're in the area, pick some up at his place before they're gone. Our usual place was selling the same limp snow peas that every store has.
