Found great roasted chile stand- Louisville, Co

TNC | Sep 21, 2005 10:54 AM

Corner of 95th and Arapahoe(7) in Louisville.
Great selection including hot and mild Anaheim, Pablano, Firecracker, Big Jim, and a couple others I can't remember. They roasted them just long enough to be able to peel easily(took two nights for all my chiles, but I'm done!) and used enough heat to make them not be stringy when you peel.
On all the chile's I got their is a nice meaty wall with great flavor.
They also have a bunch of the 'other' fall stuff: pumpkins, gourds, squash, peaches, etc.
Right next to the YMCA there in a tent.
