I have been enjoying a bounty of oysters in the greater Westchester area. So far, my favorites have been found at Artie's Steak & Seafood on City Island (they usually stick to big fresh Blue Points); many daily varieties at Saltaire Oyster House in Port Chester, lovely spot, too; and the new cool Kee Oyster Bar & Restaurant in White Plains (they offer a daily selection from around the region). To my surprise, Ernesto's in White Plains was offering a special Virginia variety '$1 a Shuck' during the week. So good with all the trimmings!
Have you been to these spots? Where else have you found good, fresh oysters?
