One of my favorite places has always been Akbar's on Washington in the Marina. Tonight they had an unlisted item, Okra. I had never eaten okra Indian style but the owner assured me that is was widely eaten in India. They pan fry it with a few onions and chili powder, cumin, garlic, etc. It was still crisp and in contrast to the usual stewed variety I get at southern places.
On a side note the coco lamb which I often order was not quite as good as usual. I mentioned it to the owner.
