I'm looking for a great "Monte Cristo"

I'd like to find a place that serves a great Monte Cristo sandwich. Are any of you old enough to remember the Monte Cristo? If not, I'll fill you in. It's usually made on thickly sliced "homestyle" white bread, with sliced ham, swiss, and also turkey. This is then dipped in an eggy batter (similar to French toast, but no cinnamon), and fried in butter on a griddle. It is sometimes served with a sweet condiment such as strawberry or raspberry preserves, or cranberry/lingonberry type jelly.

Zorba's, a 24 hour place at Halsted and Jackson is ok, especially for about $2.50, and Bennigans used to do a good one, but I'd appreciate any suggestions.
