Great Japanese on the Main Line

Like many people on the Main Line, I love sushi. Yet whenever I want it, it seems like I have only two options. I can either get the cheap poor quality sushi from a supermarket, or I can go to a nice resturaunt like Mikado and wind up spending a bundle. But there is hope. Recently I made my second visit to Sapporo House on 2371 Haverford Road. This is a place I only dreamed existed. The sushi is moderately priced (between $3-$6 a roll), and it's suprisingly very good. I had a fire roll, (tuna and spicy sauce on top of a california roll: $5), and Yaki Udon, (sauted vegtables, noodles, and meat: $7.95). Both were excellent. Besides having excellent Sushi there were many other choices like the Yaki Udon for non-sushi lovers. The service was quick and excellent and the resturaunt was air conditioned. Please go pay Sapporo House a visit the next time you want a good place to eat.
