Great Italian food in El Paso

While driving through EP this week, returning to the Gulf Coast we found Savino's restaurant,a few blocks from the Holiday Inn away from I-10 (Google describes it as 9449 Montana Ave, El Paso, 79925 - (915) 598-7948)It was a major surprise-one the best Italian meals we have had outside of our frequent trips to Italy and we are in NYC and NEngland quarterly.Although the sausage is too spicy to be authentic, the Veal marsala and Penne Quatro Fromaggio were dead on.THe breads are tasty but not true to style but the Tiramisu was so good that we would,ve taken some home if we had been able to keep it cold.
I noted a blurb when I searched it this PM on Google in which a reviewer describes a watery sauce-I strongly DISAGREE.The Marinara is just what a Southern Italian Nana would serve.
