Great food tour of Barcelona neighborhood!

adambriones | Jul 24, 201606:19 AM     5

My girlfriend and I went on an evening tour of the L'Eixample area with Alex from Aborigens (http://www.aborigensbarcelona.com/). Alex was an amazing guide and put together an awesome tour of a neighborhood we probably wouldn't have thought to check out if not for the tour. Alex is from the Barcelona area and his passion for sharing the food and culture really came through. He is also a former journalist and really made the history and background of the places we visited come alive.

All of the little bars and restaurants were great and offered a different type of food from Barcelona. We ate and drank until we were stuffed, so we definitely feel like the price was very much worth it! It was also nice that even during the height of tourist season, I'm pretty sure we were the only non-locals at the places we visited.

The tour was the highlight of our Barcelona trip and one we'd highly recommend to everyone!!
