OK. Right up front. This is probably not for you Grace/AOC types. But for some of you, you'll know what I mean.
Had to run some chores with my wife and ended up returning something at Costco in the marina. We decided we wanted a drink but didn't know where to go. We drove down (west) Washington and saw the new C&O. Stopped and had two great martinis at the bar while sharing an order of fried Calamari and some of their garlic nuts(rolls). Took off, and then grabbed lengua and asada tacos at the truck on Lincoln south of Rose. Ate in the car listening to 60's music, drank ice cold coke. Just me and the wife. No kids. No fancy waiters. No hassle. It was great. Got a slight salsa burn even now as I write this. Last night we ate at Kendall's Brasserie and saw La Boheme. Tonight just me and her eating tacos in the car. Life is good.
